Jonathan Coulton was probably the first to try it.  And Abraham Levitan of the band Baby Teeth has done it more recently.  What do the three of us have in common?  Well, we were all in the same college singing group, for one thing.  But more than that, we’re all wrote a song a week for an entire year.  That’s right.  Every week, for one year, I wrote and recorded one song about some aspect of Portland life.
